The Stamp Review Crew: Penguin Place

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  This week we're featuring the fun and playful set from the Jul - Dec Mini Catalog, Penguin Place.  This set has a coordinating punch, and there is also a matching pattern paper pack during Sale-a-Bration (FREE with a $50 purchase through September 30).  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Charlet Mallett.

To switch it up a little, I used another Christmas-themed paper pack featured as part of Sale-a-Bration, Peaceful Prints DSP.  The rich plaid print gives a warm winter feel to the project.

How fun are those little reindeer ears?  So cute!!  This card uses this week's Sunday Stamps sketch by Lisa.

Stamps: Penguin Place, Peaceful Deer; Paper: Real Red, Soft Sea Foam, Garden Green, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Peaceful Prints DSP; Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sea Foam, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials, Penguin Builder Punch, Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, e-cutter, Dimensionals.

And ICYMI, here are some past samples with the Penguin Place.

Hop on over to Bronwyn Eastley's blog to see what amazing creations she has put together with this week's set.

Love the layers and the “other” DSP! Great combination. (And the antlers on the penguin are adorable!)
