The Stamp Review Crew: Sale-a-Bration 2024

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  Today we have a special bonus hop focusing on this year's Sale-a-Bration offerings.  If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, it's a great time of the year to stay indoors and get some crafting done while also earning FREE product!  Only through February 29, make sure you check out all the free products by clicking the Sale-a-Bration icon at the bottom of this post.  If you are following the hop in order, you've arrived from the fantastic Terri Tank's blog.

I'm excited that coordinating paper, ribbon, and embellishments have returned to Sale-a-Bration, so that's what I first focused on collecting from the SAB catalog.  Struggling with the dilemma of how to highlight the coordinating product, I perused the Annual Catalog for a suitable focal image.

This project focuses on FREE SAB Sunny Days DSP, Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon, and Opaque Faceted Gems.

I cut up 2 x 6" and 3 x 6" pieces of Sunny Days DSP diagonally to create the background. This is a great way to highlight patterned paper with a happy rainbow of colors. And working within Stampin' Up designer series paper packs is a great way to achieve coordinating colors and patterns.

I've combined my card with this week's Sunday Stamps color challenge.

Stamps: Ringed with Nature; Paper: Smoky Slate, Pebbled Path, Basic Black, Whisper White, Sunny Days DSP; Ink: Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue, Pebbled Path, Versamark; Accessories: Opaque Faceted Gems, Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon, White Embossing Powder, Bee Builder Punch, Tree Rings Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

SSC326 Brightened Days

Hello All!  Welcome to another Sunday Stamps sketch challenge.  Have you seen the new Jan-Apr 2024 Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs yet? I always look forward to Sale-a-Bration, because who doesn't love FREE stuff?!  I particularly love coordinating products, so I focused on the FREE Sunny Days DSP in the SAB catalog, which coordinates with the Bright Skies bundle.

I used a die-cut & mat technique (does this have a name?) to incorporate the rectangle in the upper right portion of the sketch.  Bonus: The Bright Skies dies cut out clouds in the DSP pack, in addition to the stamp images.

Here's this week's sketch by Heather.

Stamps: Bright Skies; Paper: Pool Party, Sunny Days DSP (SAB); Ink: Crushed Curry, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Polished Dots, Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon (SAB), Bright Skies Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

This year's Sale-a-Bration benefits through February 29 include:

• SHOP: FREE Sale-a-Bration item with each $50 or $100 purchase.
• GATHER YOUR FRIENDS: An additional $30 of FREE product when hosting a party of $300 or more.
• JOIN OUR TEAM: FREE Stampin' Glass Mat Studio or additional $30 in FREE product with your Starter Kit.

The Stamp Review Crew: Sale-a-Bration 2023 Bonus Hop

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  Sale-a-Bration is almost over, ending in a little over a week, so we have a special "last chance" bonus hop focusing on this season's Sale-a-Bration offerings.  Check out all the inspiring projects the Crew has put together this week.  If you are following the hop in order, you've arrived from the fantastic Holly Krautkremer's blog.

This week's focus is On the Farm bundle and coordinating Sale-a-Bration paper, Day at the Farm.  Did you know that dies from the bundle can cut out images on the patterned paper?

Using these die-cut images, I created a quick card.

This card is inspired by Debra Harrison's design and uses Freshly Made Sketches #570.  I love all the bright contrasting colors.

Stamps: On the Farm; Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Day at the Farm DSP; Ink: Memento Black, Versamark; Accessories: White Embossing Powder, On the Farm Dies, Basic Borders Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

Focusing on more FREE paper from Sale-a-Bration, the large 12x12" Dandy Designs paper pack is awesome!  Lovely spring pastel colors, just in time for Easter.  I combined my project with this week's Sunday Stamps card.

Here is this week's Sunday Stamps color palette, which I combined with Freshly Made Sketches #572.

Stamps: Sweet Citrus; Paper: Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Whisper White, Dandy Designs DSP; Ink: Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Versamark; Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestones, White Embossing Powder, Sweet Citrus Embossing Folder, Sweet Citrus Dies, Dimensionals.

Today I'm focusing on the fun stamp set Thanks a Bunch.  What a cute spring set!  Makes you anxious for winter to hurry along.

Stamps: Thanks a Bunch; Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Basic Black, Whisper White, Day at the Farm DSP, Sun Prints DSP; Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Gray Granite, Versamark; Accessories: Linen Thread, Gingham Ribbon, White Embossing Powder, Blending Brush, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, e-cutter, Dimensionals.

For my second card, I pulled out the chalkboard technique to create a dramatic pop of color on the black background.

Stamps: Thanks a Bunch; Paper: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Whisper White, Vellum; Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Whisper White Craft, Versamark, Chalk Marker; Accessories: Linen Thread, White Embossing Powder, Sponge, Stylish Shapes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, e-cutter, Dimensionals.
