Mini Stamp Glider Downline Gifts

There's always last minute gifts that needs to be whipped up.  I bought mini stamp glider (Stampin' Bug, Chuckie) for my downline, to be used with stamp platforms like the Stamparatus, and of course they needed matching tags.

I used April 2021 So Cool Paper Pumpkin kit for the watermelon tags, and my e-cutter to create the ladybug tag.  Love how matchy-matchy they came out -- so cute!

Countdown to Christmas 2022

Here are a few things we made this season for some teacher & friends gifts.  Some adorable reindeer boxes using the Design a Treat bundle, which holds Hershey's nuggets.

Winter Gift Sets

Last minute Larry.... that's what we call my daughter sometimes.  She's just pulling together a couple gifts for some close high school friends.  Winter & COVID-themed gifts are perfect right about now, as NY seems to have gotten COVID for Christmas.

I used the packaging instructions for Easy Hand Sanitizer Holder from Twila Davis, and my daughter included some lip gloss.  Pretty easy to match the colors and theme with something from my Stampin' Up! stash.

SSC273 Celebrate Winter

Welcome to another Sunday Stamps color challenge.  I kinda missed the boat on making my own Christmas cards, so I've been thinking about New Year's/winter/January cards.  The Penguin Place stamp set, which is carrying over to the next Jul-Dec Holiday Catalog (yay!), works just fine.

The card is loosely based on Freshly Made Sketches #516, and measurements for the treat packaging are 2 x 5-3/4", scored at 2-1/8, 2-3/8" for the card stock & 1-1/2 x 5-1/2" for the belly band.

Here's this week's color challenge.  The bokeh inspiration photo reminds me of New Year's Eve.

PCC406 Warm Hugs Pen Box

Hi All!  This week's Paper Craft Crew challenge is to post a project with your favorite holiday stamp set.  I was excited to recently receive the Warm Hugs set from the Holiday Catalog, which will be retiring on January 4.  

I started by creating pen box packaging for my downline gifts.    

I wanted a tapered box so you could see the In Color pens that coordinate with the box card stock and DSP colors.  

Here is a sketch of the measurements I used.

• Cut 3-1/2 x 4-1/2" card stock base, scoring at 1/2, 2, 2-1/2, 4".  Create a 1/2" tapered opening as shown.  
• Punch holes with paper piercer 1/2" apart to thread elastic cord on 1-1/2 x 3-1/2" piece of card stock to hold the pens.  Make sure to leave a little slack in the elastic cord for the pens.  Attach this piece inside the box with Dimensionals.  Decorate box as desired.

Of course you need a little notecard from the same stamp set.  This one was inspired by a card by Helen Chapman, using coordinating colors.

Christmas Rose

Last minute Christmas preparations are underway.  After purchasing some English Rose goat milk soap, I realized the Christmastime is Here Suite would be perfect for packaging.  I love when a matchy-matchy gift and wrapping comes together.

The card is a CASE of Amy Koenders's.  I didn't purchase the entire suite, and I was really pleased I was able to cut the rose from the patterned paper using my Silhouette Cameo and Pixscan mat.

Lip Balm Book & School Treats

My daughter wanted special packaging for a lip balm gift for her best friend.  Since both girls are quite bookish (fellow Harry Potter fans), we made a little lip balm "book". 

We used the tutorial from Sarah Wills for the packaging.

My daughter also put together wrapped candies to hand out to her friends and teachers at school.

I took a photo of my farmhouse in the snow, with the help of Mother Nature back in November.  A little bit of My Digital Studio additions to create a quick photo card.  I needed easy-peasy this year!

Quick Holiday Treat Bags

More holiday preparations...  Ok, so I thought I would get away without making little 3-D treats for my daughter's teachers, but she came to me with a last minute request.  So I resurrected a previous project using Paper Pumpkin printed card bases.

This is a 2-4-6-8 treat box, and a great option when you have 1/2 sheet of card stock on hand.  I used November's Paper Pumpkin kits from 2013 and 2015.
