The Stamp Review Crew: Sweet Strawberry

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  Happy Independence Day here in the U.S.!  Nothing says summer like strawberries, so this week's fun set is Sweet Strawberry.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Mickey Roberts.

I started with a clean card with Soft Succulent gingham background for a picnic or country feel.

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry; Paper: Soft Succulent, Whisper White, Pansy Petals DSP; Ink: Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Succulent, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Flower for Every Season Gems, Strawberry Builder Punch, Banner Punch, Dimensionals.

And I created a gusseted cello bag from a 6 x 8" cellophane bag by scoring 1" on each long side and 1-1/2" on the bottom.  I added a 2 x 4" piece of white cardboard in the bottom for stability.  The patterned paper insert measures 4 x 6", scored at 2".

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry; Paper: Soft Succulent, Whisper White, Pansy Petals DSP, Cardboard; Ink: Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Succulent, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Whisper White Baker's Twine, 6 x 8" Cellophane Bags, Strawberry Builder Punch, Stapler, Dimensionals.

Hop on over to Charlet Mallett's blog to see what amazing creations she has put together with this week's set.

Heidi, your projects are so cute! Just love the strawberry treat bag. Those strawberries look so ripe and real!
