The Stamp Review Crew: Farmhouse Christmas

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week we are stamping with another Holiday catalog set, Farmhouse Christmas, which can be bundled with the coordinated Farmhouse Framelits die set.  If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very lovely and talented Lauren Alarid's blog.  Aren't her projects always beautiful?

I created a card which can also be used for this week's color challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Double dipping!

The typical Northeast rock wall was created using the cobblestone embossing die from Build a Bike framelits, with hand-trimming around the embossing.

So this is suppose to be a loose imitation of my own farmhouse, i.e. rock wall, color.  What do you think?  I hadn't planned on the Farmhouse Christmas hop and this color challenge to land on the same day, but funny how that worked out!  I've got a farmhouse, and it just happens to be blue.
