Remember my commitment to using retired or otherwise shelved product for Sunday Stamps? Well, I really had stamp sets in mind, but would retired DSP and colors count? This card uses the Holiday catalog stamp set, Spooky Sweets. I'll try to do better next time.
I've moved my sewing machine off the stamping table and unpacked the Silhouette Cameo. This makes it a little more accessible for cutting out the bats for this card. I also followed CAS(E) this Sketch #291.
This week's challenge; use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.
I'm crazy behind on my card-making and sending. Things have been super busy with getting ready for winter (is it that time again already?) and trying to get Hubs and Kiddo up to snuff on the horse riding. It's been a year since moving to the farm, and I still don't feel like we have our feet under us with the long list of jobs. I know... there's always jobs, but I don't feel like we've reached a level of general comfort or relaxation yet. I'm always freezing, I have no real flower beds to speak of, while poison ivy, vines, and honey suckles grow as soon as you turn your back, and no screen room with which to enjoy sitting outside in the evenings. We press on, but my stamping is definitely suffering.
In the meantime, here's some photos of the big dogs, bad boy Rojo (aka Cujo) and Phoenix. Both are rescues.
Today's the last day for World Cark Making Day savings. Don't miss out!
