This meeting we swapped cardfronts based on Sale-a-bration (starts tomorrow!) goodies. I wanted to use the banner shapes in a non-traditional way, and short on time, I CASE'd a card from my buddy Jen Timko, mixing it up with some of the arrangement Amanda Mertz had applied. Such a cute card, Jen! SAB elements: 2 stamps sets, 1 paper, 1 punch, 1 embossing folder... not bad for a SAB assortment!
Stamps: Banner Blast, See Ya Later; Paper: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Sweet Sorbet DSP; Ink: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake; Accessories: Rhinestone jewels, Banner punch, Decorative Dots EF, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Word Bubbles framelitsBig Shot, Sewing machine, Thread, Dimensionals.
We also shared shoebox swap projects. My project was based on the stamp set Geometrical.
I had the e-cutter out, so I couldn't resist trying to fold that in as well. Most of our members have e-cutters, and all have My Digital Studio, so this was a nice sample for them (I think). I created the layout on MDS, exported the jpeg, imported into the e-cutter, and then did a trace & cut.
Stamps: Geometrical; Paper: Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Kaleidoscope DSP; Ink: Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay; Accessories: Pearl jewels, Itty Bitty punch pack, Triangle punch, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Big Shot, e-cutter, Dimensionals.
If you'd like to join us, or just drop in next time to check it out, contact me! Don't forget that when Sale-a-bration starts tomorrow, we will have a recruit special through March 31,
Thanks for stopping by!
