MDSM16 Acadia Tradition

Hi Everyone,  It is my turn to host on the MDS Monday challenge, and it is time for a card sketch.  Let's add a technique this week.  How about giving the stamp color tool a try?  The link to the video tutorial can be found under Video's/How To's on the MDS Monday challenge blog, called Stamp Image Coloring.  Here's the basic sketch.

I've said I am trying to get my pages done so I can print some photobooks, so it is another scrapbook page for me.  One main image has multiplied into three photos... no matter, right?

I used the stamp coloring tool on the fir trees from Lovely as a Tree.  We have spent many a Thanksgiving up in Acadia, basically most of my old dog's life.  It is so quiet up there; we practically have the place to ourselves.

MDS Elements: Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Daring Adventure, Natural Composition Overlays; Paper: Very Vanilla Textured; Color Palette: Always Artichoke, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake; Accessories: Chocolate Chip Button Latte, Family Fun Photobook bow, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch; Font:  Birth of a Hero, Arial Narrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Great page - looks like a nice place for a Thanksgiving tradition to be born. I love the footprints - great touch.
