I love participating in on-line challenges, especially to get my scrappy page layouts going. I am nervous about my scrapping abilities, because I am not very well practiced. Challenges are a great way to hone your skills while also getting your pages done.
So I created the sketch for week's challenge. I am really loving layouts with one or two photos and a bunch of white space lately.
Use the sketch, flip it, make a card with it... whatever your heart desires. But open your MDS program, get busy, and practice! **BLOG CANDY** As a bonus, everyone who enters the challenge is eligible for the drawing for a free digital download of your choice (value up to $9.99).
MDS Elements: Frosty Day II mittens, border, background, Vintage Overlays, A Split Second splatters; Papers: Frosty Day II; Color Palette: Pool Party, Melon Mambo, Kiwi Kiss, Soft Suede, Whisper White; Accessories: Flag punch; Font: CK Alis Handwriting.
The Extravaganza includes doorbuster sales November 19 (today) and November 28, where selected larger ticket items will be 20% off. And there is a whole slew of items up to 50% off for the duration of the sale. See all the sale items in the online store.

This is such a cute page, Heidi. I love the "snow ball splatter" in the background and your little border of trees.
What a fab sketch for our first challenge - thank you! I just love those little trees and mittens! What a fun page.
I love what you did with the Sketch.. The splatter is perfect snow and the mittens are just too cute.. The colors go great with the pix.
