Toxic Halloween Greeting

DH had some hand surgery earlier this week, and time has been tight.  I've had to pick up the slack, including feeding the family (yikes... now that's scary!).  I was aiming for a double-duty card for stamp club and the Ilion shoebox project or downline meeting project, but it just doesn't seem to be turning out that way.  Oh well, I'll be back in the stamping mines again...

I bought the Toxic Treats set specifically for the gate image, so I had to use it.

This card was based on the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #166.

We used the Tangerine Tango marker to ink the inside and "thumping" to lightly ink the outside of the background image.  I tried using Basic Black Craft ink with the ladies this time, for a night dark, solid image... mixed results.  It is messy if it doesn't dry long enough.  Spritzing the background gives the image a nice effect.

Paper, ribbon, stamps... what fun, coordinating products!

Stamps: Toxic Treats; Paper: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Naturals White, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP; Ink: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black craft, Tangerine Tango marker, Basic Black marker; Accessories: Black Striped Satin Ribbon, Color Spritzer Tool, Sponge, Petal Cone die, Big Shot, Stapler, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!
