Piece of Poison

I thought that I would play along with Shirley Pumpkin's Monster Mash Halloween Countdown this week. Post your Halloween Stampin' Up projects on her blog using the linky.

I really loved the Piece of Poison stamp set when I saw it. I know, everyone wants a rat and brain image, right? Well, it spoke to the medical doctor in me (I was going to be a medical doctor once upon a time, long story, I won't go into it). I don't have an issue creating a creepy, medical kind of project with it, but a straight Halloween project has been more of an issue for me.

This was our club project this month. I'm sure not everyone sends Halloween cards, but this was a good opportunity to pull out the Simply Scored scoring tool and hands on experience with accordion flowers.

A project with scoring is also the monthly challenge on Shelli's blog, so I'll be entering it there as well.

Stamps: Piece of Poison; Paper: Peach Parfait, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Pick Your Poison DSP; Ink: Peach Parfait, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Basic Black marker; Accessories: Decorative Label punch, 3/4" Circle punch, Basic Black taffeta ribbon, Color Spritzer Tool, Aquapainter, Simply Scored scoring tool, Oval Scallop Frame die, Big Shot, Glue gun.

Thanks for stopping by!

I really like the way you created your card. the fan fold is the tops. At first, I read the rat with brain damage (I really need to get my eyes checked! LOL!)
