Countdown To Christmas: Friday Mashup!

Six weeks to go...

Woohoo, I got picked to be the guest designer over at Friday Mashup again! Love it!! This time we are doing a sketch challenge.

This card was inspired by one I saw done by Ilina Crouse, and we made a similar version at the Stamp-a-Stack this week. Super fun to make!

Working with the Sweet Treat cups means you have to assemble in a certain order.

• Stamp in Early Espresso on Bashful Blue DSP, punch 1-3/4" circle out of Bashful Blue DSP.
• Use a pencil to trace your punched circle on the Whisper White mat later. Using Stamp-a-ma-jig, stamp snowglobe in Bashful Blue on Whisper White. Decorate Whisper White image with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and 3-D cut-outs.
• Sandwich a Sweet Treat cup between the Bashful Blue DSP and Whisper White, hold the cup in place and remove the Bashful Blue DSP, trace the cup outline on the Whisper White.
• Fill cup with a very small amount of Buffalo snow (~ 1/4 tsp or less), remove cup liner, and attach to Whisper White. Assemble the rest of the card.

Stamps: Sweet Snowglobe, Sincere Salutations; Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Bashful Blue DSP; Ink: Early Espresso, Bashful Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Cherry Cobbler marker, Always Artichoke marker; Accessories: Brads, Whisper White ribbon, Sweet Treat cup, Buffalo Snow, Two-Way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Large Oval punch, Modern Label punch, 1-3/4" Circle punch, Northern Flurry embossing folder, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
And another card... I have been dying to ink up the hostess set Northern Hearts, but I needed some inspiration. I found this Scandinavian scarf, and thought it was perfect.

I used bleach to stamp the background snowflakes. And of course stitching is the perfect complement to the scarf inspiration.
