I attended a shoebox swap in Middletown, NY back on October 9. Great fun - waving hi, Girls! Here is the ATC swap I created for the event. I imagine this mean looking crow is guarding the gate into ?? Perhaps the spooky mansion?? Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty had a crow mascot, didn't she?
I went through a bunch of iterations, because I was having trouble deciding on the best color scheme. I think I like the upper right best. How about you?
I used the polish stone technique on Glossy White paper to create the main image. The crow was stamped on the background and again on Sahara Sand and cut out. And I used a Build-a-Brad on the "31".
Stamps: Dark & Dreary; Paper: Basic Black, Glossy White, Sahara Sand, Various Halloween DSP; Ink: Black Stazon, Pumpkin Pie refill, More Mustard refill; Accessories: 1/2" Circle punch, Build-a-Brad.
Thanks for stopping by!

All the iterations are great...hard choice! I love the brad with the number and all the little details here! Super!
Great! I like the upper right one too.
I think my favorite is also yours. These are great, and I love the polished stone BG.
They are all great, but I like the upper left one the best. I just have to be a rebel ;-)
I like the upper right one best, too, because I like the DSP you used. The crow definitely stands out better on the two top ones!
That looks so cool!! The polished stone with the Build-a-Brad is amazing!!
I love the one you chose for the dsp and the way the crow stands out better, but I'm a purple girl, so I gotta pick lower right. These are really great, and I'm not a Halloween person.
Great card! I especially love the orange background to your stamped image.
Love the use of polished stone and the BAB, so neat!
