SSC339 Citrus Blooms

Hi All!  Welcome to another Sunday Stamps color challenge.  With this challenge, I wanted to focus on the vibrant color opposites of Pumpkin Pie & Night of Navy.

I used masking & paper piecing techniques, and followed up with a little watercolor pencil coloring to highlight the images further.  To increase the focal image contrast against the background a bit, I sponge brayered the background with Balmy Blue ink.
I used a sketch from pg. 22 of the Annual Catalog.  Can you guess which one?

Here are this week's colors.  Hope you'll join us!

Stamps: Citrus Blooms; Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Mediterranean Blooms DSP; Ink: Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Watercolor Pencils; Accessories: Natural Tones Linen Thread, White Embossing Powder, Blending Brushes, Sponge Brayer, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.
