The Stamp Review Crew: Enduring Beauty

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  This week we are focusing on a fun way to add color to your stamp set with coordinating masks, featuring Enduring Beauty.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Betty Traciak.

One main reason I grabbed the Enduring Beauty bundle was the masks.  I love a quick and sophisticated way to color a large stamp image with some great detail.  Choose a great color combination, the card is practically done.

I've combined my card with Lisa's sketch on this week's Sunday Stamps challenge.  You can make out some triangular shapes in the blooms, yes?

Stamps: Enduring Beauty; Paper: Lemon Lolly, Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink: Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark; Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestone, Linen Thread, White Embossing Powder, Blending Brushes, Drywall Tape, Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks, Dimensionals.

And this card is my shoebox project for the upcoming Hudson Valley Shoebox Swap, happening in Millbrook, NY on April 6.  I'll be sharing more projects and photos on a post after the event.

The key to this card, inspired by Alisa Tilsner, is to color with blending brushes and masks first, then follow up with stamping and heat embossing.

This might be the last hurrah for the lovely and bright 2022-2024 In Colors, retiring on April 30, and the combination of this card really highlights how a few work so well together.  I'm gonna miss them!

Stamps: Enduring Beauty, Charming Sentiments; Paper: Granny Apple Green, Orchid Oasis, Basic Black, Whisper White, Bashful Blue DSP; Ink: Parakeet Party, Granny Apple Green, Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky, Versamark; Accessories: Linen Thread, Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding, White Embossing Powder, Blending Brushes, Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks, Sentiment Silhouettes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

Hop on over to Ellen Woodbridge's blog to see what amazing creations she has put together with this week's set.
