Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We typically share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month. This bonus week we are playing with a fun background stamp, Rays of Light. If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Holly Krautkremer.
Those Who
Stamps: Gone Fishing, Rays of Light, Short Order Alphabet (retired); Paper: Mossy Meadow, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight, Very Vanilla; Ink: Crushed Curry, Wild Wheat, Mossy Meadow, Boho Blue, Pebbled Path, Versamark, Stampin' Blends; Accessories: Silver Thread, White Embossing Powder, 1" Circle Punch, Sponge, Gone Fishing Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Fine-Tip Glue Pen, Dimensionals.
Turtle Silhouette: Another card pairs the chosen background set with a main image from Sea Turtle. I used a variety of blue-green ink to blend the background from light to dark.
All the interest of the card is in the background, so I kept the rest of the layers simple. Not having a ton of current sentiment sets, I grabbed a recently retired one. This card uses Freshly Made Sketches #595.
Stamps: Sea Turtle, Rays of Light, Better Days (retired); Paper: Pretty Peacock, Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink: Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock, Whisper White Craft, Versamark; Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Blending Brush, Watercolor Brush, Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
ICYMI, here are some past samples with Rays of Light.
