The Stamp Review Crew: Share A Milkshake

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  This week we are focusing on a yummy carryover set from the Jan-Apr 2023 mini and perfect for summer, Share a Milkshare.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Stacey Marsh.

I have yet to use last year's new In Color, Tahitian Tide.  Say what?!?  This is a good time to use that color as a launching point.

One reason I may have not grabbed this color yet is that I don't have any Tahitian Tide patterned paper.  So what to do?  I softened the bright background color by applying Whisper White craft ink to the embossing folder before running it through the die-cut machine.

This card is in combination with the Sunday Stamps challenge colors for this week.

Stamps: Share a Milkshake; Paper: Sweet Sorbet, Wild Wheat, Tahitian Tide, Highland Heather, Whisper White; Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sorbet, Wild Wheat, Highland Heather, Whisper White Craft, Versamark; Accessories: Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems, White Embossing Powder, Sponge, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Share a Milkshake Dies, Scalloped Contours Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

ICYMI, here's another card created with Share a Milkshake.

Hop on over to Kim Fee's blog to see what amazing creations she has put together with this week's set.

I love how you softened the embossed background! It looks almost like blue sherbet! lol Super cute, Heidi!
