The Stamp Review Crew: Itty Bitty Greetings

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  Sentiment sets are a staple of the stamping tool chest, and today we are looking at one that includes a variety of greetings, Itty Bitty Greetings.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Charlet Mallett.

This set has a variety of holiday sentiments (Valentine's, Easter, Christmas), occasion sentiments (wedding, baby, graduation), and several different ways to say thank youhappy birthday, and sympathies.

Holidays: I made a couple cards focusing on upcoming holidays.  Here is combined Itty Bitty Greetings with the Messages die.

This card also follows this week's Paper Craft Crew color combination.

Stamps: Swallowtail, Itty Bitty Greetings; Paper: Bumblebee, Just Jade, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, TH Distress White Heavystock, Flowers for Every Season DSP; Ink: Magenta Madness, Bumblebee, Versafine Onyx Black, Versamark; Accessories: Flowers for Every Season Gems, Watercolor Brush, Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Messages Die, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

The next card utilizes the Flowering Cactus Product Medley, which includes stamps, dies, DSP, and embellishments.  Just add some card stock and ink!  I love the dies cut out some DSP images for a quick card.  Layout design is inspired by Jan - Jun Mini Catalog sample.

Stamps: Itty Bitty Greetings; Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink: Magenta Madness, Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee, Mossy Meadow, Versamark; Accessories: Flowering Cactus Product Medley, White Embossing Powder, Blending Brushes, Sponge, Color Spritzer, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Home Together Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

Occasions: With the compact phrasing of the sentiments in this set, you can complement any card.  Case in point would be this sympathy card.

Stamps: Winter Woods, Itty Bitty Greetings; Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Oh So Ombre DSP; Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Versamark; Accessories: Flowers for Every Season Gems, White Embossing Powder, In the Woods Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

With consistent font-sizing, I thought about mixing and matching sayings, but ended up with this repetitive sentiment card.

Stamps: Whale Done, Itty Bitty Greetings; Paper: Pretty Peacock, Balmy Blue, Whisper White, Whale of a Time DSP; Ink: Calypso Coral, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Versamark; Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Blending Brush, Stitched Shapes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

Great ideas all - but my favorite is the sympathy card.

Great cards, Heidi! The sympathy card is stunning but I'd have to say that the birthday card is my favorite. It's so fun!
