PCC387 Peony Garden

Hi All!  We've been doing our best to enjoy the summer, during the short time we have it.  We've been running, biking, swimming, horseback riding, and canoeing.  Much of it as a family unit.

After a pause in card-making activities, I'm back for the moment.  This week's Paper Craft Crew challenge is a sketch.

In combination with this week's sketch, this card is also a contribution to our Virtual Card-Making Fun Facebook group, with a card by Jane Daniels of the UK as inspiration.  My main focus is the color combination and pattern papers from the Peony Garden Suite.

Stamps: Positive Thoughts, A Dozen Thoughts; Paper: Gray Granite, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Peony Garden DSP; Ink: Petal Pink, Basic Gray, Versamark; Accessories: Flowers for Every Season Gems, White Embossing Powder, Sponges, Stitched Triangles Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

The new August–December 2020 Mini Catalog is live!  Now is a great time to get a jump on your fall and holiday crafting.  You can view the catalog online, or let me know if you need a copy.

Fantastic card. I’ve tried this style a few times and it has not come out successful like yours. So, since the couple times I tried it a wanted to try something like this for a while but can never get the courage to put once together in like it enough to give it to someone. I need to keep looking forward & keep on trying. It’s only paper and I have some to spare.
