Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. This week we are taking a look at another Holiday Catalog set, Perfectly Plaid. With the coordinating Pine Tree Punch, I am a sucker for an easy stamp and punch combo! If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very lovely Lou Kitzelman's blog.
This week is another opportunity to combine this hop's featured set with the Sunday Stamps challenge. I chose a modern Christmas color palette.
Hint: When inking up the DisInktive stamps, especially with a juicy ink pad, try using a rubber brayer to apply the ink to the stamp. Using the Stamp-a-ratus will allow inking & stamping more than once for good coverage.
Here's this week's Sunday Stamps sketch by Melissa.
While prepping for OnStage, I made a variety of treat holders, include a triangle box (holds M&M's nicely), wrapped chocolates, and Hersey's kisses tents.
Stamps: Perfectly Plaid; Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Wrapped in Plaid DSP; Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce; Accessories: White Baker's Twine, Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, Pine Tree Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, 1/18" Hole Punch.
ICYMI, here's a card I created with this set for our quarterly downline shoebox swap.
Make sure you hop over to the always fabulous Cindy Elam to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's set.
