The Stamp Review Crew: Birch

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week, how about we take a look at a versatile background stamp from the Annual Catalog called Birch?  There is going to be a variety of projects on this hop, I bet!  If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very lovely Mary Haugen's blog.  Aren't her projects always beautiful?

This background could be paired up with most seasons, especially winter/Christmas, and it would work really well with any woods/cabin/camping set.  My brain is still stuck in summer crafting, so I went with flowers.

This card uses CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #334.  I brayered the background lightly for some aging and to set the daisies apart.

Stamps: Daisy Lane, Birch; Paper: Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Whisper White; Ink: Smoky Slate, Versamark, Mango Melody & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends; Accessories: Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack, White Embossing Powder, Brayer, Dimensionals.

Make sure you hop over to the always fabulous Charlet Mallet to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's set.
