SSC211 Castle Dreams

Hi All!  Long time, no see!!  I've been sick for a few weeks and taking a stamping break.  But I managed a card for this week's Sunday Stamps color challenge - come join us!

These colors (and graphics) remind me of the European Mediterranean, so I tried for evoking some type of European summer vacation feeling.

I believe this is a German castle image.  (Hubs thought Cinderella's castle -- was she German?)  Pairing with the Woven Threads DSP might give the sun-baked summer feeling... maybe?  You can imagine the challenge of watercoloring those little roofs - OMG!  My eyes are not spring chickens anymore.  I'm thinking a little round table-mount magnifying glass to color by might be a good investment.  What do you think?

ETA: The castle is Neuschwanstein, in Germany, which was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle in Disneyland.  Did you know each Disney site has its own princess castle?  I'm obviously an eastcoaster, as we immediately thought of Cinderella's castle from Disney World.  Thank you Christy Lynn for the info!!

Here are these week's colors; use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

Stamps: Chase Your Dreams; Paper; Rococo Rose, Pretty Peacock, Whisper White, Woven Threads DSP; Ink: Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Early Espresso, Basic Black; Accessories: Woven Threads Trim, Iridescent Sequin Assortment, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, Aquapainter, Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

It's Neuschwanstein, which IS in Germany :) It was Walt Disney's inspiration for Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland. I love that stamp set! Super cute card!
