IF Love it. Live it. Share it. Blog Hop
Hello Everyone, I'm joining a group of Inky Friends for the Inky Friends Live It. Love It. Share It. Blog Hop, which features amazing products from the new Occasions Catalog. Sit back and enjoy some wonderful ideas using the newest stamping goodies!
If you have been following the blog hop in order, you have just come from Sarah's blog featuring Picnic with You. She always has beautiful projects! And today I will show you some projects using the set Let the Good Times Roll, which also can be bundled with coordinating Thrill Ride Pop-Up thinlit dies.
I love roller coasters and ferris wheels. I can't resist these fun images! So I picked this bundle to use for our recent downline meeting.
This card uses Freshly Made Sketches #319.
Stamps: Let the Good Times Roll; Paper: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Bubbles & Fizz DSP; Ink: Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Lemon-Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, Versamark; Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Thrill Ride Pop-Up Thinlits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
And I *may* have a preview of this weekend's Sunday Stamps sketch challenge (shhh!).
Wanting to incorporate the Thrill Ride thinlits into the card front, I cut out the bottom part of the pop-up track, similar to what Shelli Gardner had shown at November's OnStage convention.
One of the cool things about the photopolymer stamps is that you can bend and curve them, like I did with the sentiment. Using the new Stamparatus stamp press tool to accomplish this and ink several times is very helpful!
Here's this week's Sunday Stamps sketch. Can you see the sketch in my card?
Stamps: Let the Good Times Roll; Paper: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Myths & Magic DSP, Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper; Ink: Berry Burst, Tangerine Tango, Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay; Accessories: Thrill Ride Pop-Up Thinlits, Big Shot.
Although I didn't use pop-up feature of the thinlit dies into today's projects, I wanted to illustrate it. It is pretty straight forward, and adds a lot of fun to a card. If you are interested, Stampin' Up! produced a video showing how to put it together.
Make sure you check out the next stop to see what Rhonda at The Stampin' Bunny put together using Cake Soiree. She has made some amazing projects!

The bright piece of the Bubbles and Fizz DSP looks so fun on your first card. That's my favorite piece out of that pack! You did a great job with the roller coaster scene on your cards. Love them both!!! That's a great tip about curving the sentiment too. Very creative!
