I have snow anger. There is snow everywhere. The sidewalks aren't clear, which annoys me when my son doesn't drive and walks everywhere. It is hard-to-impossible to see to pull out onto the street, and there have been untold number of school delays and cancellations, which also impacts my swimming. But first and foremost, this makes biking tremendously difficult, nearly impossible. More on that in a minute.
Often crafting is an outlet for whatever is on my mind lately. Lisa has a sketch and "take flight" challenge for us on the
Friday Mashup.
This is an ATC I created for the Binghamton shoebox swap this weekend. You can kinda see the sketch lines in this one, if you squint.
I couldn't take it anymore. It was getting all like the Shining in here. I busted out and biked the only place available, a 5-mile stretch of the rail trail that goes over the Hudson River.
This is my fat bike, a snow bike. The snow is deep enough that even this bike doesn't work in most places at the moment.
I purposely didn't look at the "feels like" temperature until I got back, 4 F! Good Lord, spring better come soon before we all, ok I, go nuts! Or you can argue I'm already too far gone.

I know how you feel, though this year the problem here in MN isn't snow, but lack of it. We don't have enough for XC skiing, but just enough where I hate to run or bike on the roads for fear of wiping out. Grrrrf. Cannot wait for spring!!
ArtGekko, I'd be happy to send you some! :D
Ok, I know how you feel about all the snow (and let me say how angry it makes me since I'm not getting any!) but your card made me laugh, I love it!! So creative and perfect, Heidi!
