While I'm not big on Christmas preparations, my daughter thinks planning and preparations are the most important thing, especially decorating. She started making presents for her brothers in August. She has been keeping a calendar in her Season of Style This & That journal of what we need to do when (which, by the way, is a perfect place for her to keep her wishlist). And among the decoration items she loves are wreaths. A six-year-old who loves wreaths?! I find it strange.
Every year we get our Christmas tree the first weekend in December. And she always wants to purchase bird accessories for the tree (or just to play with). While prepping for a workshop, I put together this Christmas birdhouse for the tree, which she will flip over as soon as she sees it.
Paper: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar, Season of Style DSP, Quatrefoil DSP; Accessories: Cherry Cobbler seam binding, Bird Builder punch, 1" Circle punch, Argyle EF, Adorning Accents edgelits, Mini Milk Carton die, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
Now I can be found, the night before Christmas, whipping together gift card holders. Here's one I put together for the workshop, so maybe I'm one step ahead?
The base measures 4-3/4 x 7-3/4", score at 1-1/4, 4-1/2" parallel to the short side. The card front using Seize the Sketch #8 layout. The inside is decorated too -
This gift card holder fits into the Note Card Envelope.
Stamps: Christmas Collectibles, More Merry Messages; Paper: Soft Sky, Whisper White, Winter Frost DSP; Ink: Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate; Accessories: Pool Party baker's twine, Island Indigo baker's twine, Rhinestone jewels, Christmas Ornament punch, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Finishing Touches edgelits, Chalk Talk framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!
