You'll remember the Tea Bag Dispenser Box tutorial from Splitcoaststampers, which I then used to create a Christmas Candy Dispenser Box. This led to a natural discussion about a Ghiradelli Chocolate Dispenser Box... much more useful in my world!
I altered the tutorial dimensions to fit the need. To speed this along, I'm going to use the same photos for illustration as the original tutorial, but I'll give the updated measurements in the text.
Starting with 5-1/4 x 10-3/4" card stock, score at 3/4" parallel to the long edge, score at 3, 5-1/8, 8-1/8, 10-1/4" parallel to the short edge.
(Photo for illustrative purposes only. See text for altered measurements.)
Using your paper trimmer with a scoring blade, score 3/4" above the original 3/4" score line in the SECOND SEGMENT ONLY (see photo). Cut out the 1-1/2 x 2-1/8" piece from the bottom of the second segment and 1/2 x 3/4" corner piece. Cut between the remaining 3/4" flap.
To create the top, score 3-3/4 x 4-5/8" piece of card stock at 3/4" on all sides. Cut and taper the corners as shown.
Further salient information:
- Chipboard base, covered with card stock: 2-3/8 x 3-1/4"
- Follow the tutorial for assembly, and decorate as desired
- This box will hold one 7 ounce bag of Ghiradelli chocolate squares.
