FM129 Gently Falling Colors

Time for another Friday Mashup.  This week's challenge is brought to us by Erica, a color and artistic subject, i.e. fruit, challenge.  Think junior high art class.

Although I was thinking apple or pear, I was struggling to get the fruit portion of the challenge down on paper.  So I ditched it and went with a current stamp set I haven't used in a while, Gently Falling.

This was another fun shot at the Bordered Sentiment tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  I colored some pearls with a brown Sharpie to coordinate with the card, and I pulled out an old layout, Retro Sketches #9.

Here's the challenge:

Here's your Mashup Challenge:

  2. Create a project using a "Fruit Image."
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a project using the above "Color Combo & a Fruit Image. "
Stamps: Gently Falling, Four You; Paper: Very Vanilla; Ink: So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Early Espresso marker, Brown Sharpie; Accessories: Pearl jewels, Burlap ribbon, Sponges, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

This month's online hostess code is BFSTGCT9, available through October 10.  If your online order is less than $150, please use this code.  Don't forget I offer a free make & take with every online order.

Love what you did with the pearls. And the embossing on the top part of the card only is really lovely!

As always Heidi a lovely card. I really like how you embossed just a portion of the card, with the seniment dividing the spaces.
