Countdown to Christmas: Picture Perfect Snowman

Hey Ladies, three weeks to go until Christmas!  Time to bang out those last few Christmas cards and start finishing up the little gifts.  This week we are getting together to create some "Step It Up" projects, and I'll have a series of posts sharing what we'll be making.  We'll have a chance to go all-out on a few special projects, and I hope my ladies remember to bring their patience!  :)

First up is the pop-up, scored Christmas tree card from pg. 181 of the annual catalog.  I love when I make a card and shout out, "Cute!" when it is done!  Eek!

I love the little polaroid look!  This card uses CAS(E) this Sketch #6.  And here is the business end of the card.

Here we'll use DSP rather than card stock for the scored tree, to help reduce the bulk of the card.  Stampin' Up posted a video on the scored Christmas tree technique.

Stamps: Stylin' Snowfolk, A Cute Christmas; Paper: Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Comfort Cafe DSP, Old Olive DSP; Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso; Accessories: Boho Blossom punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, Simply Scored scoring tool, Petal Cone die, Big Shot, Lots of Sticky Strip.

Tomorrow, the cascading card.  Thanks for stopping by!

This is absolutely darling, Heidi. Found a link to your site at Kitty Krafts blog where she created another darling card usaing your inspiration. I'm going to try this for a birthday creating a cake instead. Thanks for the great video - i could even get all the directions even though my computer doesn't have its speakers at the moment! You are awesome!
