It is time for another Stampin' Up Only Challenge. Today we are talking about texture. Anything goes - embossing, scoring, fabric, felt... just make sure it is Stampin' Up only. If SU doesn't carry it or something like it, such as felt, then feel free to use it on your project too.
My first inclination was to go with felt, but I was skewed towards another, even bumpier, textile - burlap! Burlap always reminds me of coffee bean bags, so off I went with that.
I love retro coffee lady... and I can't tell you the comforting feeling I get from a coffee ring stain. Is that weird? Reminds me of hours and hours of college studying.
I used Mojo Monday sketch #260, and now that I look at the result, this card gives me a "diner" feel. Looks like a place setting, no?
And I have to show you... I finally said "Enough!" to my retro lady + sentiment stamp. I had DH saw the block and remounted them separately. Phew! The freedom to use an ink pad!
Stamps: Sip by Sip; Paper: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP; Ink: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Real Red marker, Soft Suede marker; Accessories: Neutrals button, Linen thread, Crystal Effects, Color Spritzer tool, Coluzzle, Scallop Squares Duo die, Cone Petal die, Big Shot, Burlap.
Thanks for stopping by!

And I love splitting these stamps us-though I've never actually taken a saw to one :) Fun layout and details!
