MDS Monday: Same Layout Two Ways

Here is the same easy card layout, perhaps go-to layout, used for a traditional stamped card and a digital card.

This card is a CASE of Beth McAlexander's card using different papers and a different color scheme.  It is a layout which is adaptable to various sentiment stamps.  And this card is another submission for this month's Creative Crew color-focus challenge on Splitcoaststampers.

Update: This just in - Word Play is one of the stamp sets that Stampin' Up just announced they will offer as part of the single stamp set purchase pilot program.  You can purchase any single stamps from the following sets through January 2.
Stamps: Word Play; Paper: Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP; Ink: Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze, Summer Starfruit markers; Accessories: Framed Tulip EF, Big Shot, Sewing machine, Thread.

Another version in digital format.  I'm always looking for quick thank you cards for customers, so MDS really fits the bill.  I just print this out at home, mount it on a card base, and mail it out.

Here I used a couple MDS2 features: a custom size to create a 4x4" square card and coloring my sentiment stamp three different colors.  Since I am not filling my white space with texture, I went with splatter instead.  Don't forget to check out the new digital challenges posted every Saturday on mydigitalstudio.net.

MDS Elements: Stamps: Word Play, Vintage Overlays, French Foliage, Splatter; Papers: World Spectacular; Color Palette: Daffodil Delight, Primrose Petals, Midnight Muse, Peach Parfait, Whisper White; Accessories: Flag punch, Mis-stitched.

Thanks for stopping by!
