Pumpkin CASE Study

I was surfing around Splitcoaststampers for Halloween inspiration, and I came across Dirty Dozen Alumni Barbara (aka Bar) Anders's card.  Love the muted colors.  Yep, I wanted to recreate it with what I had in the house.

It excites me to use fall colors and crazy little paper curly-Q's.  :)

This is going to be my submission for this month's Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge.

I was thinking Barbara used a mighty nice layout, so I dug deeper to see if it came from somewhere specific.  It came from a new-to-me challenge blog called iSPY Sketches, and this challenge was featuring my friend Cindy Elam!  In fact, it was based on a beautious swap card that I have, made by Cindy herself!  Oh what fun happenstance!!  :)  You can click on the sketch photo below to see for yourself (after you finish reading my post, of course).

Stamps: Autumn Harvest; Paper: More Mustard, Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP; Ink: More Mustard, Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Black Stazon; Accessories: White baker's twine, Sponges, Perfect Pennant die, Big Shot.

Thanks for stopping by!
