So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
- Make a "Indian Summer" themed project.
- Or Make a project with any three colors from "Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Raspberry Ripple, Lucky Limeade & Early Espresso".
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Indian Summer Themed project with the color combo".
Hubby is huge on apple picking and canning apples, so we spend a lot of time on that during this time of year. In fact, his dad will be here to help peel apples since DH's hand is out of commission. Although this is a pretty clean card, I hit all five colors. Yay me!
Although most of the elements on this card comes from 'Grandma Overboard' on Splitcoaststampers, the basket is my own. Lots of hand-cut, sponged, and layered pieces. Came out good enough, I think.
Stamps: Perfectly Preserved; Paper: More Mustard, Whisper White; Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Lucky Limeade, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso marker; Accessories: Blender Pen, Sponge, Simply Scored, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Cannery Set framelits, Big Shot, Sentiment with MDS2 (Font Segoe Print, size 20, color Early Espresso), Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, you hand cut that entire basket? What a labor of love. Came out gorgeous and I love the card!
And what an awesome basket it is! You are super crafty!
Love it, Heidi! Love the CAS, love the basket, love the thought of apple picking - fabulous card :)
So, so awesome!! Love that basket!!
What a wonderful basketful of bounty! And all that white space with half embossed and scoring too, take it to a wonderful CAS level. My DH and I were just discussing the value of picking your own apples. Wish we had some orchards nearby!
Beautiful clean and simple card Heidi!! Your basket is fantastic. Love the thought of apple picking and canning apples. I love this time of the year. Thanks for the fun challenge.
Hugs ;)
Sorry I am late commenting.....this was a great challenge and I really loved it! Your basket is just amazing and I love the touch of embossing.
When we lived in CT we used to go apple picking with the kids all the time. We dont have that sort of thing in Alaska so I have to look at pictures and remember the times :) LOL
Wow, that basket is very impressive Heidi!!
