The Stamp Review Crew: Beary Cute

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  This week we are focusing on an adorable Sep-Dec Mini Catalog set, Beary Cute, which also has an available coordinating punch.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Terri Tank.

Merry Bold & Bright: Did you notice the rich, darker colors throughout the Mini Catalog?  But what about bright colors?  I wanted to dig into my Merry Bold & Bright DSP pack, which is full of bright and unexpected holiday colors.

Going with the non-traditional color scheme, I blended the background with Lemon Lime Twist ink and a die-cut from the Basic Borders Dies.

Stamps: Beary Cute; Paper: Shaded Spruce, Whisper White, Merry Bold & Bright DSP; Ink: Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Shaded Spruce, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Loose Frosted Dots, Blending Brush, Basic Borders Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

Northern Lights: I put together an iconic Arctic scene, avoiding a sentiment on the card front which would take away from the background.

Stamps: Beary Cute; Paper: Starry Sky, Pebbled Path, Very Vanilla, Whisper White; Ink: Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss, Starry Sky, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Masking Fluid, Blending Brushes, Forever Forest Dies, Above It All Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.

Hop on over to Jay Soriano's blog to see what amazing creations he has put together with this week's set.
