Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month. This week we are playing with a new background stamp, Rays of Light. If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Betty Traciak.
Background stamp sets often complement a chosen featured set, in my case, Peekaboo Farm. Living on a farm, animals often wait impatiently for breakfast and are always happy to greet you.
This card is colored to mimic my husband's horse Rags. I didn't have a current sunshiny sentiment, so I had to reach back for a Paper Pumpkin set. I'm often happy to have those sentiments around in a pinch!
My card also uses several items retiring at the end of the month: Horizons Dies & New Horizons DSP, as well as Pebbles Enamels Shapes.
Stamps: Peekaboo Farm, Rays of Light, Oceanfront, Paper Pumpkin Feb 2016 Hello Sunshine; Paper: So Saffron, Smoky Slate, Very Vanilla, New Horizons DSP; Ink; So Saffron, Old Olive, Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Blends; Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestones Jewels, Pebbles Enamel Shapes, Horizons Dies, Die-Cutting Machine.
Hop on over to Mike Funke's blog to see what amazing creations he has put together with this week's set.
