The Stamp Review Crew: Birch

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week, how about we take a look at a beautiful, woodsy background stamp from the Annual Catalog called Birch?  Such a fun background that can be applied to a variety of themes, there is going to be a variety of projects on this hop, I bet!  If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very lovely Charlet Mallett's blog.  Aren't her projects always beautiful?

Using the inspiration photo from The Card Concept,

I created this fresh card.

Stamps: Nature's Harvest, Birch, Counting Sheep; Paper: Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink: Bumblebee, Garden Green, Saddle Brown Stazon, Smoky Slate, Versamark; Accessories: Flowers for Every Season Gems, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, White Embossing Powder, Aquapainter, Blending Brush, Subtle Embossing Folder, Harvest Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

This background IS very versatile, and I have more ideas.  I'll have to follow up with a later post, as I've been suffering from tendonitis in my right hand this week.  Stay tuned...

ICYMI, here are a few previous cards I've made with the Birch background.

Make sure you hop over to the always fabulous Holly Krautkremer to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's featured stamp.

Awesome cards! I really love your first one and the color combo is pretty sweet! Hope you heal up fast too. I ended up getting hubby's stupid cold and it kicked my butt.

So sorry about the tendonitis. :( Hope it resolves itself quickly and you can get back to creating things like this GORGEOUS card!
