The Stamp Review Crew: Dragonfly Garden

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month.  This week we are taking a look at the Dragonfly Garden stamp set, which has a handy coordinating punch as well.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Cindy Elam.

It's been a while, huh?  We went away to PA for a week during Spring Break.  Not really warm but a good mental break for the kiddo.  And maybe life is starting to pick up again, because these upcoming weekends are busy-busy.  Still I feel like I don't get anything done during the week, as Hubs continues to work from home.  So today, I'm combining tasks for Sunday Stamps and Stamp Review Crew, focusing on color.

I stamped the wildflower with Soft Suede ink and heat embossed with clear powder.  I then colored the flowers with Classic Ink and Blender Pens.  The dragonfly is punched from the Dandy Garden DSP, made more robust by layering another punch-out on the backside.

Here are the colors for this week's Sunday Stamps challenge; use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

Stamps: Dragonfly Garden; Paper: Misty Moonlight, Whisper White, Flowers for Every Season DSP, Dandy Garden DSP; Ink: Bumblebee, Garden Green, Misty Moonlight, Soft Suede; Accessories: Flowers for Every Season Gems, Linen Thread, Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Blender Pens, Dragonflies Punch, Messages Die, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

ICYMI, here's a diagonal fold card I created with Dragonfly Garden.

Hop on over to Charlet Mallett's blog to see what amazing creations she has put together with this week's set.
