Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday of the month. This week we are taking a look at a returning holiday favorite, found in the Annual Catalog, Perfectly Plaid. With the coordinating Pine Tree Punch, I am a sucker for an easy stamp and punch combo! If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the very talented Lou Kitzelman.
I'm combining the hop with this week's Sunday Stamps color challenge. Using the inspiration photo, I focused in on the wood grain while combining a few colors.
I stamped the Birch background on Very Vanilla card stock, and then brayered with Crumb Cake ink to give it a more weathered hue.
Here's this week's challenge; use a minimum of three colors plus a neutral. Hope you'll consider joining us!
Stamps: Perfectly Plaid, Birch; Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce, Very Vanilla, Plaid Tidings DSP; Ink: Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso; Accessories: Red Rhinestone Jewels, Very Vanilla Baker's Twine, Brayer, Pine Tree Punch, Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.
ICYMI, here are a couple previous cards I've made with this set.
Hop on over to Ann Schach's blog to see what amazing creations she has put together with this week's set.
