The Stamp Review Crew: Daisy Lane

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  To kick off the new annual catalog, we are playing with a carry-over stamp set, Daisy Lane. This set coordinates with the Daisy & Medium Daisy Punches.  If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very talented Kelly Kent's blog.

We have some neighborhood trails at the farmer's property next door, and the oxeye daisies started popping up all over this week.  "She loves me, she loves me not."

These guys helped inspire today's card, combining CASE(E) this Sketch #376 and color challenge from TGIF Challenge #267.

Stamps: Daisy Lane; Paper: Bumblebee, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, In Good Taste DSP; Ink: Versamark; Accessories: Perennial Essence Floral Centers, Linen Thread, White Embossing Powder, Sponge, Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, e-cutter, Dimensionals.

I've had the following color combination in my mind,

based on this social media advertisement spam.

This card uses Hand Stamped Sentiments #341.

And here's another layout.  Which do you like better?

Stamps: Daisy Lane; Paper: Bumblebee, Just Jade, Basic Gray, Whisper White; Ink: Bumblebee, Just Jade, Smoky Slate, Versamark; Accessories: White Baker's Twine, White Embossing Powder, Sponge, 1/16" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Banner Punch, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, Die-Cutting Machine, e-cutter, Dimensionals.

And ICYMI, I had previously created a Daisy Lane card for the Birch SRC blog hop.

Make sure you hop over to the always fabulous Lou Kitzelman to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's set.

Love the color combination together. Will have to remember it and try it myself. Thanks for playing with us at HSS.
