SSC213 Wild About Giraffes

Hi All, I'm late for this week's Sunday Stamps color challenge.  Still trying to get my feet under me after returning from vacation + the start of school.  I'm glad you've joined me!

This week's graphic is sunflowers, but I went a different direction with my card.

Got to use some retired supplies, which is always nice.  I stamped the giraffe outline in Early Espresso ink and then colored with a dry aquapainter, in order to avoid ink smearing.  This card uses Fab Friday sketch #169 and is inspired by a card by Geri Utterback.

Here are this week's colors; Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

Stamps: Zoo Review, Rooted in Nature, Pieces & Patterns; Paper: Old Olive, Tip Top Taupe, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Go Wild DSP, Vellum; Ink: So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Mango Melody, Old Olive, Garden Green, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Early Espresso, Mocha Stampin' Blendabilities; Accessories: Crumb Cake Ribbon, Gold Mini Sequin Trim, Triple Banner Punch, Aquapainter, Sponges, 3-1/2" Circle Die, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.
