The Stamp Review Crew: Incredible Like You

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Inspiring you one stamp set at a time

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week's hop focuses on a set from the Occasions catalog that will be retiring soon, Incredible Like You.  This is a perfect floral layering set, and it has some really great sentiments with lovely font.  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the blog of the fabulously talented Charlet Mallett.

This first card is doing double-duty with both the hop and Sunday Stamps.  This week is a sketch challenge.

With all the wonderful layering of images, there isn't much need to add embellishments (although you certainly could).

Here is this week's sketch by Lisa.

Stamps: Incredible Like You; Paper: Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black, Whisper White, Botanical Butterfly DSP; Ink: Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Versamark; Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, Dimensionals.

And for my second card, I combined Freshly Made Sketches #385, rotated sideways, and Color Throwdown #540.

Although this set is a Distinktive-type, able to use one color for both the outline and the lighter fill-in image (right side), I preferred the Mango Melody outline with Daffodil Delight fill-in flowers (left side).

Stamps: Incredible Like You; Paper: Night of Navy, Whisper White; Ink: Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy; Accessories: Night of Navy Baker's Twine, Stitched Shapes Dies, Die-Cutting Machine, Dimensionals.

Hop on over to Stesha Bloodhart's blog to see what gorgeousness she has put together with this week's set.
