The Stamp Review Crew: Barn Door
Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. This week we are stamping with an annual catalog set, Barn Door, which can be bundled with the coordinating Sliding Door Framelits die set. If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very lovely and talented Lou Kitzelman's blog. Aren't her projects always beautiful?
Here's a Christmas card for my parents, from our barn to theirs.
Barn Door and Woodgrain images were stamped on Wood Texture DSP, and the horizontal planks were cut with the Wood Crate framelit. Using our bad boy Rojo as a model, I stamped the horse image from the upcoming Occasions catalog set Let It Ride. Getting realistic coloring is a challenge for sure!
Stamps: Barn Door, Let It Ride, At Home With You, Hardwood BG; Paper: Flirty Flamingo, Cajun Craze, Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Wood Textures DSP, Gingham Garden DSP (retired); Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Meadow Moss, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Versamark, Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends; Accessories: Linen Thread, White Embossing Powder, Sliding Door Framelits, Wood Crate Framelits, Farmhouse Framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
Hop on over to the fabulous leader, Tanya Boser, to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's set.
