Hello Stampers! It's Sunday, and that means time for another
Sunday Stamps challenge. This week is a color challenge.
The Stamparatus is key for being able to stamp the image multiple times. I inked up the stamp with Mango Melody and stamps. I followed up with applying Pumpkin Pie ink to certain areas with a Sponge Dauber and stamping. This selective coloring can be done multiple times.
For the
Bokeh Dots background, which is one of Stampin' Up's
distINKtive sets, it works well to use a brayer when inking up the images. I used a rubber brayer to apply the first coat of color. Again with the Stamparatus, I stamped again after sponging on some Blueberry Bushel ink. The layout is courtesy of

I ended up putting together a second card with a watercolored background (which was actually my first background attempt).
This card is in honor of our old fancy goldfish, Nemo, who just passed away last night. I think he was nine. He leaves behind his grieving tank-mate, Dory. Here they both are, in happier times, back in 2012. He is predeceased by a sibling, Flipper.

Beautiful card and great use of the colors! Condolences on the loss of Nemo. We have goldfish exactly like yours. Our two remaining ones are about 12 years old I think. One is blind in one eye but he can still sense where the food is :) . Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
This is a wonderful wonderful card, and sorry about your little long-lived Nemo fishie. I loved the sentiment stamp you used but didn't see details about it. Which stamp is it?
