Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. This week's hop focuses on a new Annual Catalog set, Sea of Textures. As the name implies, this set, with the coordinating framelits, are so fun for layering lots of images and texture. If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from the very talented Lou Kitzelman's blog. Aren't her projects always beautiful?
I've combined this week's set with today's Sunday Stamps sketch challenge. As seen further down, I've already used the main octopus image a couple times, so I wanted to focus on the coral/seaweed/starfish images.
I die-cut some shapes from Watercolor Paper, and then watercolored them for a less uniform appearance. My card was heavily CASE'd from Breelin Renwick (thank you for your inspiration, Bree!). I had the current Paper Pumpkin kit on my desk, so that was an easy grab for a perfectly-sized sentiment.
Here's Sunday Stamps's sketch by Teresa.
I've previously posted a couple cards created with Sea of Textures as well.
Hop on over to the lovely Bronwyn Eastley's blog to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's set.
