I had been chased out of my stamp room recently with some mold remediation. Looks like we've got that all squared away, and I've managed a second card for this week's
Sunday Stamps challenge. I'm back! (Don't yell that too loud lest it be short-lived.)
This week's sketch reminded me of a large front window scene, and I decided to give that a try.
I used the Simply Scored tool to create the wainscoting. And I sewed the lace onto a Soft Suede "curtain rod", which was tricky business. I even squeezed in two of three embellishments in terms of staples - woohoo!
Here is Monika's sketch this week:
Stamps: In the City, Hardwood BG, Woodgrain BG; Paper: Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Whisper White; Ink: Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Basic Black; Accessories: 1/2" Very Vanilla Lace Trim, Stapler, Layering Squares Framelits, Big Shot, Sewing Machine, Thread, Dimensionals.
