SSC149 Succulent Shadow Box Card & Blog Candy!

Time for another color challenge on Sunday Stamps.  A fun way to incorporate 3-dimensional flowers into a card could be by making a shadow box card.

There are many instructions out there for shadow boxes; I happened to use this video.  Then I added the "cover" to make it into a card.

I layered colors on my leaves.  The large flower starts with Wisteria Wonder CS, inked with Whisper White Craft ink, followed by Mint Macaron, Perfect Plum, or Concord Crush ink.  The smaller flower is Pistachio Pudding CS, inked with Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Lost Lagoon, and Not Quite Navy inks.

Here is this week's challenge colors.  Use at least three colors and a neutral.  I hope you can swing by and join us!

Stamps: Oh So Succulent, Hardwood BG; Paper: Pistachio Pudding, Mint Macaron, Wisteria Wonder, Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White, Succulent Garden DSP; Ink: Mint Macaron, Lost Lagoon, Not Quite Navy, Perfect Plum, Concord Crush, Soft Suede, Whisper White Craft; Accessories: Delicate White Doilies, White Baker's Twine, Sponges, Succulent Framelits, Basket Builder Framelits, Big Shot.

And BLOG CANDY!  I have some more to give away.  Please leave a comment here by Sunday, April 2.  And join me on Facebook. I will be picking a random winner on Monday, April 3.  Make sure you have your email linked to your commenting profile so I can contact you or stop by here to check for the winner.  U.S. residents only, please.
