Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. Today we have a BONUS hop, focusing on host/hostess stamp sets. If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from Nikki Spencer's blog.
For my host set, I chose Pun Intended from the annual catalog. I always love the cute and funny sets for a light and happy card.
Using the Petals & Paisleys suite from the Holiday catalog gives the card a real retro feel. The sketch is from Sunday Stamps Challenge #136, of which I am now a co-owner (shameless plug). I also covered the flash area with fine-tipped glue to give it a nice shiny finish.
Hop on over to Holly Stene's blog to see what fun projects she has put together with one of our host sets.

I love cards like these! Love the shiny, star with that cute camera inside. That trio of banners is the perfect setting for that group of elements.
Love this! The camera and the copper star are fabulous against that DSP!
Fabulous card. Love all the shiny elements and the touch of sparkle. The cicle of vellum behind the flash is an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing! Rochelle xo
How cool! Love the design and addition of the copper Heidi, it really adds that wow! xx
The shiny foil star and vellum circle really bring this card to the next level! Love it!
I love how the star and the vellum frame the camera (pun intended...), Heidi! You really showcased how beautifully the sketch works for a focal point image.
I am a fan of all things retro and this hits the mark! Great take on the sketch (congrats BTW on the Sunday Stamps Challenge)!
Heidi, this is so fun! I love this retro card. The papers are just perfect for your camera! The stars and shiny finishes are great touches! Have a great week! XX
