Apr 2016 PP: Mother's Wreath

When I opened April's Paper Pumpkin kit, I was so excited for my daughter. She loves to decorate the house with wreaths. Then... the overgrown puppy got ahold of the styrofoam ring. Yikes!  With some masking tape repair, we were able to put the wreath together without anyone being the wiser.

So, what to do with the extra pieces from the kit?  Stampin' Up had posted some ideas on their website, and Dena Rekow came out with a wreath card fairly quickly.  I wanted to do something similar, but I really wanted to make the wreath special for Mom.  I used cardboard rings to make it more dimensional.

This is a good project to submit to this month's My Pumpkin Challenge, 3-D Galore.  Definitely qualifies as "anything with dimension" option of the challenge.

As always, I've put the instructions together for this project to send to my Paper Pumpkin Club members.

I also have a sneak peek of May's kit, a fun masculine kit with laser-cut designs.  If you are not a subscriber, join by May 10 to receive this kit.

Oh Heidi - this is gorgeous! Your extra ring layers add a perfect amount of dimension to a wreath card - I'd be hanging this up, too, lol. I also love what you did with the flowers! Thanks so much for playing at My Pumpkin Challenge - I so love seeing your projects!
