Originally when January's Paper Pumpkin came out, I thought it would be great to make class Valentines with pencils or lollipops. Then there was the impression there wasn't going to be class exchanges, so I made a few special ones with the kit for my daughter to hand out to teachers and besties. And then, the class was going to exchange Valentines, and I now didn't have enough hearts left in the PP kit, not to mention plenty of time already invested in this project.
Round 2 of Valentine creation happened last weekend, rather than worry about the Super Bowl. Gosh, after so many years as a Stampin' Up demonstrator, little cute candy packages still get me! These would be so adorable as a wedding or party table favor. And I got to make a small dent in my retired stash - always a plus!
I'm gonna add this project to this week's Friday Mashup challenge, Valentines & Candy. Come join us!
Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Real Red, Sending Love DSP; Accessories: Rhinestone jewels, Thick baker's twine, Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, Angled Tag Topper punch, Dimensionals.
