The Stamp Review Crew: For All Things

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week we are playing with the beautiful fall set, For All Things.  If you are following the hop in order, you've arrived from Tanya Boser's blog.  She always has such creative projects!

This round, I had to keep it simple as we have a new puppy (aka Tazmanian she-devil) in the house.  Perhaps I'll be able to come up for air in a few months.  Although I really tried to force myself to create with the leaf/branch spray image in this set, as I haven't used it, I was much too drawn to the larger leaf and acorns.  I.could.not.resist.

Searching around for something different for this set, I came across CASE this Sketch #2.  I thought that could be fun.

Stamps: For All Things; Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla; Ink: Delightful Dijon, Hello Honey, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede; Accessories: Linen thread, 2-1/2" Circle punch, Watercolor brush, Sponge.

I also pulled this set out for last week's Friday Mashup challenge, a fall color combo & masking.

To add subtle sparkle, I applied spray adhesive to the card front and sprinkled on a couple pinches of gold glitter.

Stamps: For All Things; Paper: Island Indigo, Whisper White; Ink: So Saffron, Delightful Dijon, Island Indigo, Early Espresso; Accessories: Into the Woods elements, Gold Metallic thread, Adhesive spray.

Hop on over to Dawn Tidd's blog to see what she put together with this set. Her projects are always amazing!

Gorgeous cards, Heidi. I really like how you let the leaves shine on the clean background.

You may not have had much time, but your simple card is stunning! I love all the spatters and the washed look of the leaves :)

A dynamic duo of cards, Heidi! I love them both. That blue really adds a nice pop on the second card and the glitter on the first is so much fun!

Love both cards, but the first one is elegant. It's my fave!

Great CAS projects with the set, Heidi! CAS is hard (I think) but it's perfect the way you've used color and other elements to perfectly finish these cards. They're just lovely!

I like both of these, Heidi, but my favorite is the first one. I just haven't mastered the art of spattering yet! Great job!
