FM147 Kick Up Your Blue Suede Boots

Time for another Friday Mashup.  This week Avery is hosting with a sketch and spritzing.

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using the "Sketch".
  2. Create a project with "Spritzing / Splattering".
  3. or Create a project using the "Sketch & Spritzing".
I've had a card designed on paper since December.  I went looking for a Texas-themed card for Houston Leadership, and I was inspired by a couple cowgirl cards here and here.  I made a list of fun products from the Occasions mini that would work for this card, purchased them, and then didn't actually make the card.  I'm kinda glad, because there is a lot of detail (read: time) in this project.

If you squint, you can see the sketch.  I assembled the whole thing, and of course forgot the spritzer, so the whole card got a dose.  For the fabulous blue boots, I pulled out my Glossy White card stock and the polished stone technique.

Stamps: Bootiful Occasions, Fine Feathers, Hardwood BG, Woodgrain BG; Paper: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Glossy White; Ink: Soft Suede, Baked Brown Sugar, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White craft, Black Stazon, Versamark, Chocolate Chip Marker, Island Indigo reinker, Soft Sky reinker; Accessories: Rhinestone jewels, White EP, Large Oval punch, Owl Builder punch, Color Spritzer Tool, Fringe scissors, Aquapainter, Sponges, Dress Up framelits, Word Bubbles framelits, Big Shot, White pencil, Rubbing alcohol, Cotton ball, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love this card.. was looking for you on Connection. do you have a tutorial on how you did the background

Tracy, I don't have a tutorial. I just stamped the background, cut down the center and at angles to create the corners of the walls, and then sponged. Same for the floor.
